White wax like plastic solid having a characteristic odour suggestive of Octanol but free from odour of other solvents.

Functional Uses

Wetting and emulsifying agent used in Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Food application.
Cosmetic use :- as wetting agent in bath oil preparation.
Food use :- As dispersing and solubilizing agent for gums, Hydrophilic Colloids, Cocoa and various hard to wet material.As wetting agent in cleaning of fruits, vegetables and leafy plant material.
Medical use :- Used as ingredient in laxative and as Fecal Softener.
